With this tweak, we can modify which colour selection of the default theme shows up when the computer’s startup screen is displayed.
Start the Registry Editor and navigate to HKEY_USERS
.DEFAULTSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionThemeManager, and locate the key ‘ColorName’.
Change its value from ‘NormalColor’ to ‘Metallic’.
Exit the Registry Editor and restart your computer.
Your new colour scheme will come into effect!
To go back to the old colour scheme, just change ‘Metallic’ back to ‘NormalColor’.
