If you have accidentally deleted the Show Desktop icon which sits normally on the bottom left hand corner of the Quick Launch Taskbar. How to restore the icon?
1. Click Start, Run
2. Type the following command: regsvr32 /n /i:U shell32.dll
The Show Desktop icon file will reappear in Quick Launch task bar.
